The Vicarage Court Care home was inspected by infection control department in December 2014. The care home passed with flying colours achieving 93% by Kirkless & Wakefield Council Inspectors.
This is one the highest marks ever achieved in West Yorkshire by a care home.
Special praise was given to the care home operator. The inspector commented on how the care home stood head and shoulders above the other care homes in West Yorkshire.
Last year, the owners invested £3000 in a specialist sanitising machine. The inspector said he had never seen a care home invest in such a manner, even hospitals have not got such machines.
Mr J Singh stated, we are glad the hard work done by staff and owners is being recognised. We are aware that 93% is a high mark, however we know we can achieve a higher mark. Our aim is to do better next year as we constantly strive to improve.”
